Tuesday, June 24, is National Drive-Thru Day!
Where I grew up in the Midwest, Drive-Thrus were everywhere: the bank, fast food restaurants, the dry cleaners, the pharmacy. The weather had a lot to do with people not wanting to get out of their cars.
In sunny Southern California, Drive-Thru's are few and far between. Sure, there are fast food chains with Drive-Thrus, but that's pretty much it. I hear they have Drive-Thru Chapels in Vegas. What sort of business would make an interesting Drive-Thru? A florist? A therapist? An accountant?
