Diary Adventure

Have you ever kept a diary or a journal? Now is as good a time to start as any. Try writing just 10 minutes every day in your own special notebook.

If you have a great day, it's fun to write about your experiences. If your day was not so good, it's much better to write about it - and explain how you feel on paper - then to stay mad and keep those feelings inside. You can write jokes, tell funny stories that happened at school, anything goes. It's your private place to express what is on your mind.

Happy Writing!

On Wednesday, Purple Pencil Adventures spoke with 12-year-old actor Zachary Gordon, who plays the title role in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Movie, based on the book by Jeff Kinney. The movie opens today. After you see the movie, post what you liked most about it in the comments section below.

  1. Great suggestion, and so true about getting the bad feelings out, instead of keeping them inside.

Haven't seen the movie yet, but REALLY want to!
